Jase's Tea Room

Heard that there is a tea house for my leisure time.
Finally i tried out twice: once with Fab and once i went alone.

I notice that the business hour is
12:30am till 10:30pm weekdays and Sunday
12:30am till LATE Friday and Saturday.
which means i finally found some place where i can stay till REALLY late instead of 1 or 2 am.
It is "Jase's Tea Room".

Jase's Tea Room allocated on second floor above 中原小馆, a chinese restaurant at Premier 101, the new commercial area in Jalan Kempas and Jalan Stampin.

Since Fab cannot cope up with the annoying construction of Novotel Hotel just opposite his house, we decided to find somewhere quiet and comforting.
"There should be a quiet place."
"Okay. See you there then."

Once we entered the door, I felt quite comfortable with the soothing lighting and design of the room. Yellow dimly lights are hung on milky white and coffee dark walls and ceilings. But the room is not dark during day time, since sunlight has enhanced the room from the windows. And there is a classic crystal lamp at the center of the room.


The windows are decorated with silky curtain, and you can see green from the window, lush trees and heavy traffic (weird right? well, i believe you will not able to see those green anymore since they want to build a fly over here.)

The coffee and tea bar is brighter, surrounded by lamps and lights. The Wega espresso maker is glamorously placed at a corner. The cabinet has stored bottles of tea leaves and flower buds, for beverages.

The menu is written and shown above the cabinet. They offer plenty of drinks: coffee drinks like latte, macchiato, mocha, cappuccino and affogato, chocolate, various of tea and of course, soda. I don't think they have enough food for you if you're not a pastry lover.

What attracts me at the coffee bar is a pair of classically worn dolls.


Seats are suitably arranged, neither too wide nor too narrow. I would say that it's just like a club, for socializing and gathering. You can seat on the sofa with relaxation, or tables and chairs and talk with excitement. Don't worry that your voices has disturb others, just like others won't care if they had disturb you.


Here was the sofa that i sat last night.

Some light musics and songs are played, like "Finally found someone" by Barbra Streisand and Bryan Adams. (I always dream that i can own a place like this and play musics that I like, such as Andrea Bocelli's, Celine Dion's french song, jazz and etc. Would this be only a dream?)

The owner wanted to turn this wide room into a modern relaxing tea house with fragrance of tea and pastry and sight of garden and flower. This is the flower bunch.


My apologies for not taken enough photos and not owning a good camera. Instead, i was using my SE550I of camera 1.3MPixes at night. If i have chance, I will update this with more photos and descriptions.
I recommend to you guys, "Jase's Tea Room" for a afternoon Hi-Tea or sneaking at night.
But if you are sensitive to cigarettes, here might not be a desirable place for you. Although it is air-conditioned, it is not a non-smoking room. What a waste!
